It ain't just classical

We often think of orchestral music or music containing these classes of instruments as classical music. It actually is inaccurate to refer to all of this music as simply classical! There are several eras of time or what is called "periods" of music that are quite different than each other. Each one is marked by the way compositions were written, certain composers, and historical events. So as instructed take your time and research the main periods of music identified here.
